Postby upyourkiltbatman » Sun Mar 14, 2010 8:29 am

right then after about 2 weeks of f*****g about with the van changing parts , i am about ready to set fire it. after i get the van started after a bump or turning it over for about 30 seconds it runs ok ish but then after i stop it i can hear bubbles or diesel rushing back to the diesel tank and then it will need to be turned over again for 30 seconds before it starts , this happens about 5times out of 10 when you dont hear the noise in the tank it starts straight away . please help , it the vans last chance

I had similar problems with mine, it was the lift pump letting air into the system so was screwing it up, check the pipe connections on you lift pump.

checked the connections on the back of the lift pump and they seem ok , but can hear air leaking/sucking when i turn it off at the back of the filter , can you repair the push fit connectors or is this not the problem .
