MK5 Hi Roof Rear Door Locking Mechanism

Hello All,
Mk 5 Smiley Hi-Roof SWB
Does anyone have a diagram of the rear locking mechanism ?


The key lock barrel needs to be changed and the top locking pushrod bar is working ok but i noticed the the bottom pushrod bar has been disconected for some reason by the previous owner. So before i tackle this problem thats been bugging me for ages i would like to have a working diagram to make sure that i have all the parts needed so i can rebuild it and have a fully functional lock mechanism.

Hello,

I have got the top and bottom pushrods to operate properly and the van locks from the outside with the key.
However... The van won't open from the outside via the key though.( It will open from the inside )
I'm assuming that i just don't have the right key for it as every lock seams to have a different key...lol

Has anyone got a diagram of the lock mech so i can see if i have rebuilt it correctly.

If it locks with the key then it sounds as if the linkage is O.K. If you try to unlock it with the key and the key won't turn then it is the wrong key for that lock as any Ford key will lock any door.
