do the colour on the pump need to match the colour on the injectors?
I have a ford transit 2.5 td epic engine, with a blue spot on the pump and a brown spot on the injectors ?
any ideas?

so thats not the cause for my irregular idle then?
it wasnt idling iregular before puttin 4 brand new injectors in, any ideas whats wrong?

It's not impossible you have a faulty new injector
