Mk 5 Running Gear Onto a Mk 4...???

Postby bodgit0_0 » Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:38 pm

Been offered a Mk 5 190 LWB which has the 100bhp engine and the seller said it is good for 90-95mph, whilst I dont need to go that fast my Mk 4 150 LWB, it is screaming at 70mph.

Will the Mk5 running gear complete fit my van, may look at putting the power steering on at the same time. Any problems with this plan, should I go and do the deal and start stripping it....

What are you waiting for :?:

But it's likely he may have a taller rear axle

If you put both registration numbers into ETIS, you can see exactly what each van left the factory with
Or put the numbers up here for one of us to do it :D
