How far on 20 pound?

Just thought it would be interesting to see how many miles you get on 20 pound?

I get 120 knocking about.

Depends how heavy my right foot is but generally about 110 ish with all my stuff on board

mines an auto, around town about 80 miles, on a mixture of roads about the 120 mark and on a motorway run about 130.

I reckon that Ive been getting about 130; which is typical weekly commuting, in a lightly tuned Mk5 2.5 manual. Think this equates to about 42mpg? My maths isnt as good as it used to be!

all be a lot less by the end of next week from what i have been reading ( they are predicting £1.24 /litre )

at £1.06 / L(last time i filled up i have been getting around 120 /£20 this will be down to round 106 at new price

as my van is just used as a big car with room to sit in the back when fishing , its getting hard to justify when i was getting 68 / gall from a vectra diesel that would do most of the same job for me


still way better than the granny estate i had a few years ago , 18 to the gall round town if i was very careful and only a 2 L , my old 2.9 granny used to give me 26 !!!
