I dont know about the front hubs, but I imagine it would be a whole world of pain! If you want mk6/7 alloys you can fit the mk5 front hubs and rear axle without any mods, but you will need to get the alloys countersunk.
However give your friend has a mk6 axle I would look at fitting that, take some careful measurements, if the spring hangers are the same distance apart then you are laughing. I would, however be looking for some mk4/5 hubs knock the wheel studs out drill out the holes and fit the M14 studs from the mk6 and counterbore the disc retaining bolt holes...
So in summary
rear axle - maybe, careful measurement required
front hubs - forget about it fit the mk4/5 5 stud hub and modify it slightly
