How difficult is it to change the dash? i fiited a smily grill to my beavertail and looks so much better, thought i would change the dash also.

It has been done but i believe the heater has to be modded, someone else should be able to tell you in more detail

the wiring for the clocks and lights will need altering too

I DONE IT 4 YEARS AGO ON MY OLD J REG SPEC LIFT, IT TOOK BEST PART OF A DAY, CLOCKS WERE FUN BUT I GOT A LOT OF INFO FROM PEOPLE ON HERE, I USED MK5 HEATER BOX ETC TOO, YOU ALSO NEED THE WHOLE GEARSTICK ASSEMBLY

if the van has a mt75 box you are ok if its the old type box which is mainly mk3 then the heater box needs cutting as gearstick hits it....The bulkhead needs cutting as mk5 heater box pipes are higher up and a bit to the right you then blank off the hole left by the mk3/4 heater pipe...use the loom from the donar vehicle as its so much easier you can then fit a rev counter dash clock as well..done this to several transits over the years..

regarding the gearstick ive done this on a newgen 92 and 94 both have needed a smiley gearstick too
