Hi I have a mk3 with a 2.5 diesel I intend todo the tappets and timmingbelt but nead to know the spanner size for the crankshaft bolt as i will have tobuy one Thanks Keith

I know that my Mk5 is 18mm, but I seem to remember reading on here that the earlier engines were a bigger size

You do know that the crank pulley doesn't have to come off, don't you

know the feeling next problem is remooving the gearbox its a type N Haynes manual says lower thefront suspension crossmember ? cheers
