In my experience, those two don't go together, but I hope you find one :D

Main thing I need doing is getting the sliding door to close and lock properly, cant seem to quite work out how to do it.
Also need the oil changing, I know I should be able to do it but cack handed isnt even close to describing my mechanical skills. Also dont have a drive or even a flat road near my house that I can do any work on. I suppose I could manage it but I am scared I will completely cock it up and be left with both a large bill and no way to get to work.
Perhaps I am just being lazy???????

Not at all!
If you don't have the confidence to tackle these things, then it really is best left to an expert. If you can watch and maybe help, then your confidence will grow :D

Only ever found a handful of mechanics I think are worth their salt, and I can't really afford their time

If you were closer i'd have a look for nothing.

It's not everyones cup of tea this hands on stuff, got nothing to do with lazyness. I started fiddling about because I couldn't afford to do it any other way, then I started getting interested in it.

Still get days where I cannot be bothered, as long as the engine runs I am very good at procrastinating.
