non banana engine?

hi guys , have a t reg smiley with banana engine , been offered low mileage replacement engine and box from same year van ,but the engine seems to be different as in not got the long banana manifold on it but much shorter one that ends on top of engine , so my question is what engine is this and should i fit as is or put my banana manifold on it , many thanks ......jim

if it has the same injector tops as yours its the same(you might have to sort out your pats control box on the pump)
if it has diffrent injectors its from a earlier engine will still fit..
just swap your manifolds over.

the engine, injectors and pump are identical i have just never seen an engine like this and wondered what is was and should i put it in as it is or change over the inlet manifold , also mine has a two into one exhaust down pipe and the new engine just a single one
