replacement body parts

Postby steels123 » Fri Apr 16, 2010 1:57 pm

i have owned my mk 5 for three years now and two months ago i (with alot of persuation from the mrs)decided to try and sell it. Two people have already come to see and have offered less than enthusiastic money for her. I have come to feel quite attatched to the old girl and shes always been very good to me (apart from a slight wheel bearing saga) So i have decided to tart her up and preserve her for future generations, (yay they all cry)
To do this i will have to fight the age old problem of rust, its in all the usual place (arches, rear doors) but not to a great extent if i start operating now! i would also like to remove the shell and doctor the chassis just because i want it to last.
so in short does anyone know of any suppliers of arches, rear cross members and other body pannels or replacement kits?and if so how much dollar these will likely be costing?

i would be very greatfull for any info you have :D
