Just thought we could post the most important thing about out van (apart from the weight it will carry lol so how fast will it go lol on the flat.....

straight up 95mph :lol: :lol:


twin wheel 2.5 turbo di 100ps gone back to the 5.14 diff :( :( hi top lwb empty or loaded same speed was just at 105mph with the 4.63 8) 8) but it turned out to be more worn than previously thought :( plus it wasnt fitted by a proffessional :lol:

You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

It'll depend on engine output, load, what's on the roof, what height roof, wheelbase, axle ................... ..........................................

Andyg no its Plod lol. No, no two vans are alike, mileage etc, just empty speed on the flat. My 96,80,sht (semi high top lol), gets up to 85 on the flat. Its not turbo but hills are not a good idea lol....

As you're plod :D mine will do 75mph fully loaded, with a roof rack, one tripple 12 ladder, two roof crawlers and a small hook :!:
Mines a turbo low roof with an a4lde :wink:

I stop at 100 as i cant afford the ban :lol:

Think i could get a bit more out of it though..had 105 loaded on the old engine :)

Had to take the roof racks off mine as it felt as if it was going backwards lol. Theres also not much change if its full or not...

luton van f reg :shock: with my slightly modfified turbo di no electrics :D 85mph flat out on the flat 90mph downhill and about 70mph on the long hill on the m11 coming out of london before the m25 loaded with trailer..never speeding in this country it was on my private race track :wink: :wink:

120 mph flat out on teh red line revving its nuts off.

80, can do this loaded or empty. Never any more no matter what so I suspect due to a governer/limiter or some such gizmo.
