Temp sender

As i now have mondeo clocks in my Mk3 the temp gauge is not accurate. normal temperature is just onto the white line.

Can a mondeo sender be fitted to a pinto or is there any way of altering it so it reads properly

I was thinking a similar thing but in reverse, can I fit a 'Smiley' Di sender in my V6 Gona get one anyway and have a look what I can do with it I would suggest you do the same
