I have just been fined for driving my Transit mk7 in Bath emission zone , £60 fine plus £9 quid charge , to qualify for a lower emission charge you will have to tell dvla and try to get your vehicle reregistered , I asked about changing the emissions on a fiesta diesel turbo once to bring it up to new emission spec and was told by dvla that car was what it was and it would be taxed at its original emissions level regardless :|

I didn't even know that Bath had one, seems it's only been in place a short while, and they call it a clean air zone.

Strangely, although it seems that vans less than Euro 6, are chargeable, LGV's are free, which is what I thought was a commercial van under 3500kg :?
Diesel cars are also free
