Does it have a Timing Belt or Chain?

Is there a mileage/date to change timing chains? Mk6 2004 2.4cc

When they start to rattle on startup maybe, but there's no scheduled interval :)

Cheers mate, it's on start up, I was going to change the oil and see if it helped, looks like more bills to come!
