wish me luck...

Postby Lee J » Fri Feb 16, 2007 12:37 pm

Last night my battery light came on whilst driving. I tested the alternater whilst revving the engine and it's showing 11.60v so I concluded that it was shagged.

Wish me luck! I'm setting off to Cheltenham this afternoon from Leeds with a not very good alternater.

What should I expect to happen?

I have a fully charged battery (been charging all night) and a fully charged leisure battery plus a fully charged power unit (kind of a jump start battery pack).

Will I make it there and back?

any suggestions or advice please!

switch off the radio and any thing else that is not required and join a motoring organisation (if you are not already a member) :D

(sorry nothing to helpful but not many people on in the mornings)
