Have a 03reg swb 100/280 transit and went out today to work and had no indicators hazard lights worked so must be fuse. When i got home looked for the fuse as did not have manual for transit had to check one by one found the fuse 30amp one and changed it tryed the indicators and the fuse just blow tryed a few more just the same

Has anyone know what i can do to sort it out before i have to take it to the garage to sort

any help would be great

please can anyone help now i have the right indicator work dont know how that happen but it works but soon as i put the left one on it blows the fuse put new 30amp in and right one works all day put soon as i turn the left on fuse blows

sure could do with any help please

Could be the bulb, try taking them out and see if the fuse go's.

Might cost another fuse but the only suggestion I have, seeing as no one else is about today!

had also changed the bulbs still the same

Did you change/have changed any bulbs previous to this :?:

Remove the rear lamp assy. and unplug the whole unit from the connector (presuming it's similar to the MK5) and try another fuse :idea: with out the whole lamp connected and see if this takes out another fuse or not :roll:

I had a similar problem once on my brake lights :!: :shock: But the fuse does blow slow enough for someone else to see which lamps go to light and which didn't.
Best done in the dark :idea:
It turned out to be the way Ford moulded my rear lamp holder :roll: even though it had been fine for three years :!: :o :lol:

I straightened the short out and was really pleased I had brake lights again :D :D
