remove Ford Transit battery

When I turn the key, no response at all. My dealer told.me the battery's flat. Can someone please tell me how I can remove the battery from under the driver's seat?

my van is T260 56 plate.

I did search on the internet but can't understand the jargons.

1/ Slide seat forward, and lift the battery cover.
2/ Undo terminal connections, negative first, positive last
3/ Undo battery clamp, and lift out battery

Unless you have a camper like mine, then you have to remove the swivel seat by undoing loads of little bolts and lift the bloody seat out, the seats are heavy!

The seats simply slide forward and back, I don't think its swival.

How many batteries are there btw? I'm assuming just one under the driver's seat?

Some have two batteries, someone on here will know, depends on year and model etc.

A 260 will generally have one, unless it was ordered from new with the second as an option
