Mmm would be 150 plus I assume

When you say engine blown does it belch out loads of smoke and no power engine malfunction light on

Also was the injectors test before fitting

Brand new injectors... Loads of smoke, loads of oil due to presurized crank, no power, will just about run/tick over. no knocking

That's is the symptoms but won't know for sure until head is of

John Rhodes of Mossley.. Fully synthetic oil..they have all the kit for coding the injectors etc ....Van has ran fine for around 8 months since injectors..

you could rebuild it yourself

with this kit

and find a piston but these will supply new pistons as well ive used these many times and they use quality part

its hard to say what actually caused the potted piston but from experience these engine don't like remaps the are a specific ps for a reason if you start playing you end up with no van

injectors are a big problem with these if not programmed in using the new correction factors per cylinder then they don't no what they doing hence over fuelling then get to hot then just give up

i will also say pistons for these engines come in different sizes bigger bowls wider pistons and longer as well

anybody checked the injector seals ,seen some real pressurising issues when seal fails completely
