I'm in France and the prices here are ridiculous.
Tried the Monroe online shop but out of stock and the QH part number gives no results in a google search.
Found a few maks I've never heard of, but a bit dubious to buy without recommendation as the old girl carts a lot of building materials around.
i wouldn't bother asking a Ford dealer here for original replacements as they will probably be more than the van's worth

Subject to where you are in France, try over the border in Belgium or Germany.
Try posting up the names you didn't recognize as someone on here may be able to give a recommendation. For example Bilstein of Germany used to be a big name in shocks for rally cars.

Terry, I'm a couple of hours south of Bordeaux so unfortunately Belgium or Germany are a bit far.
Mr RVM, clicked on your link but ebay France blocked it for "legal reasons in certain countries".
The French don't like competion and act as if they are doing you a favour if they sell you something. The cheapest I've found them online here is 121 euros delivered which is about 88 quid.
I'll order up a set and get them delivered to my dad as we have to visit the UK in October.
Only had the controle technique yesterday and it was only an advisory so not in a panic.
