mk6 transit cooling fan issues

Good evening all....
can anybody give me some help with why my fan is not working??
I have bridged a relay out and fan runs but left to its own accord it boils over.
also overtemp light doesnt come on
i unplugged light sensor and bridged it light works so presume sensor faulty....
however no power at fan switch plug any ideas??

Sorry forgot to say its a 2.3 petrol/lpg 53 plate.
