Hill start contril

Postby motovanner » Mon Jun 22, 2015 2:09 pm

Can anyone explain how this works?

Mine works fine, but curious if it acts on the handbrake mechanism like a traditional hill start would be done?

Many thankks

No it uses ABS system to slightly apply rear breaks and release when moving

Yes you stop on a hill and press brake and clutch and it just locks the abs pump so when you take your foot off the brake to go for the accelerator the brakes are still on because the abs pump hasn't released them, lasts for a few seconds or if you let go of the clutch. :-)

Only drawback is that you can't really do an angry getaway
