Cracks in floor

Postby fisher25 » Tue Apr 10, 2007 11:19 pm

I bought a new 2.4 lt diesel transit Dec last year. I am using it as a courier vehicle. Last month I noticed a soft patch on the floor by the anchor point at rear of the left side door. Right side also seems to be soft as well.
Our local Ford people investigated and found a crack, which they repaired. However Ford New Zealand are claiming this is the first time they have come across this problem and are reluctant to class it as a warranty claim
Has any body had problems with cracks or heard of this happening please?

No sorry. Photo,s I have are only of the general area, which has the floor covering hiding the cracked area.
Vehicle is going back to the dealership next Saturday for further investigation.
Will post any developments.
