next time i would suggest leaving the rad in place and taking out the inlet manifold and dropping the starter motor, working in the engine bay from above and only crawling under it to get the bottom mounting bolts :D

you'll be much quicker then :)

I would of done it that way if the plastic nuts on front of air manifold weren't knacked. It was a Saturday and i needed the van for Monday and i didn't want to make things worse. You did tell me this in my previous post when i needed help.

had faulty waterpump replaced,they found the casting was pourouse,squirting water all over the place,i got that for free
then they charged me £105 to fit it and a fiver for antifreeze plus the vat came to £129.75....this seems steep to me....wasnt even a fraud stealer....the robbin get

Hi, Fords wanted £350.00 to do mine,£129.00 that seems quite reasonable thats why i done mine myself.
