cooling system over pressurising.

Anyone out there had probs.with dura torq over pressurising the cooling system and lifting the pressure cap on the expansion tank.Strange thing is the temp.guage doesn't move from the centre of the guage(normal opperating temp.)No signs of overheating at all.It only seems to over pressurise after it has been on a fairly long journey.THIS IS DOING MY HEAD IN.Do these engines have any history of head gasket problems?.

make sure you dont have an airlock in the cooling system
