As for the bonnet rubbing/bending/getting damaged, you have nothing to loose, ask them if they'll fix it, as it isn't really your fault, especially if the hinges a are supposed to be lubed as part of the type of service you requested :!:

Sorry Andy :!: In all honesty my Mk6 had the same problem i had to keep spraying it with the good old duck oil etc :wink: :)
