rear axle mk7 2013 fit on 2011

I currently have a 2011 transit tipper 2.4 twin RWD. It has been fitted with the wrong axle from scrap yard before I purchased it. I need to change it to one around 4.27 ratio or less. I have seen for sale locally, off a 2013 tipper Twin wheel RWD 2.2.
Could anyone advise if this would fit my 2011 2.4.

Tippers and recovery machines typically have 5.xx ratio axles.

The later axle should fit though.

Yes that is what I thought but after putting in my reg my van should have a 4.27 diff. At the moment with the diff I have im doing 60mph at 3000 revs and little arrow on the dash is telling me to change to 7th gear lol.. Lets hope that the 2013 has a better ratio, still waiting to hear back.

If you can get the VIN of the 2013 machine, ETIS can tell you what it left the factory with.
