cutting out after start..

HI had a remap to map out EGR Ive blanked it out.....garage remapped it reversed out of garage and stalled it , went to start it nothing at key solenoid clicking under seat... They put old map back on ,still the same...changed earths on inner wing. No codes coming up ,now runs for about 1-2 mins then just stops...Garage said he put booster pack on terminals under bonnet to keep battery topped up while writing map...could this of done something...Lost for things to try.. ,been fine no probs starting for a year of having it.. 2.2 rwd Jumbo mk7 62 plate Thanks....

Solved I think.. turns out a sensor had been mapped out in map that was on van when i got it. Reason stopping after 1-2 mins it was thinking was over heating so cutting power to stop starting back up... leaving for a period of time van will now start and run with original file back on.. now need standard map file to get which sensor has been mapped out.. are these files easily available?
