Cam cover injector seals

Postby Sparkyg1000 » Mon Jun 21, 2021 6:04 pm

Hi all
Got a 2007 2.2 transit I’m wondering if anyone knows a good place other than Ford for the injector seals that sit in the cam cover. Ford want £49+vat each. It’s the big black rubber ones

I got new copper washers, new seals, rocker cover gasket and new clamp bolts for around £70 from euro car parts.

Yes I know I need to replace all these. Last set I got were from eBay and they weren’t the best quality. Was wondering if anyone knew any good aftermarket ones of is it just as well to bite the bullet and go to Ford.

The copper washers and o rings aren’t too expensive from Ford either are the two bolts. It’s the £49 + vat each for the seals that is a sore one

Bought a 'injector' seal kit from TPUK, holding up OK so far - 15Kish.
