ULEZ LEZ / Ford Transit 2.4 2001

Postby lovetrend2010 » Tue Oct 26, 2021 7:46 pm

Hi guys and gals , does anyone have any good ideas please?
I have 2.4 flat back truck and since yesterday it seems like my poor truck is going to cost £112.50 per day to be in London .
This 2001 2.4 td engined truck is a so called 'early adopter ' which was OK previously , but now I am probably in the 'muck' .
Any suggestions from members with experience of this or actual TFL etc would be appreciated .

Inside ulez which has now grown its 12.50pd
Inside congestion charge is now 100 I believe
Only applies when vehicle is being driven so parked up you don’t get charged.
What areas of london are you in?

If it's "parked up" within the zone...surely you have to drive it to get it there...and will then be charged..?? Or am I missing something..?? We have nothing like this in Aus.

There are cameras at the main entrances into the zone, but I 'believe' that it's possible to drive into the zone via other ways with no cameras. I don't think that there are any fixed cameras within the zone, but there's always the risk that there are mobile units. If you can get into the zone undetected and park up, then you're OK, but what would be the point :?:

Time will tell how strict they are enforced. But I enquired if you drive in on Monday 12.50 and if you drive out Friday 12.50. If you do r drive around in that 5 day period you are not charged. But as mentioned I don’t think all routes in or out are monitored
