anyone got one of these, is it what it says it is, and if so, where and how is it fitted, and pictures would be fantastic

It is an odd question, particularly because you haven’t mentioned what van you have, what phone you have. But either way, lots of people have them, they’re almost certainly what they say they are, unless they don’t hold the phone, where they’re fitted depends on which van, how they’re fitted depends on which van, what pictures would you like? Yes, odd.

best car mount i have ever bought, so strong and doesnt fall down and sag, i have mine mounted on the drivers side on the windscreen so it doesnt obstruct the view in anyway

I dont like the vent type holders.

Am looking for something better than the screen mounted ones

That is the handset holder that screws to the drivers side of the gearlever trim.
I doubt it works with any modern phones and you still need a lot of wiring, the comms module and ids to program the audio system.
The seller does not show the recess the phone would mount in, I wonder why.

th, i was only looking for a phone holder, when i saw this, but wondered how you actually mounted a phone to it, i wouldnt be using it for anything other than a phone holder

I suspect there were inserts to match particular phones, but unless your phone is the same shape as one from over a decade ago......

If you just want a holder that works, the Brodit one is possibly the best fit.

I have one in the Transit, and one in the Focus.
