Can’t see if it’s the cooler, filter or sump that’s fubar, it’s a bloody mess under there.

What’s that saying “if there’s no oil under it there’s no oil in it”, need to sort it this weekend as I’m in Manchester from Monday till Christmas, I’m hoping it’s just the cooler gasket :?

That's the newer "spin-on" filter type cooler too. Give it a good spritz with degreaser, hose off and start the engine, you'll then see where the source of the oil is.

Aye the previous owner fitted it when the cooler shat the bed, it must have only happened in the last couple of days, I’ll give it a good clean at weekend and see what’s what, bloody ford
