MK7 AUDIO HELP

Hi there I have a MK7 in which I have just upgraded the speakers and also fitted an amp the problem I have is that the amp powers up without the remote trigger wire which means the amp is on all the time. I have fitted loads of hifi in the past and as I Know it all amps needs this remote connection to trigger the amp so why is it doing this? I have used hi level imputs to the amp in order to keep the factory bluetooth working
