Selmar 8 Leisure Battery Charger.

Hi my selmar 8 leisure battery charger isnt charging my two leisure batteries. Its not working at all when its plugged into the land line. The batteries charge when the engines running. Is there anything i can try to fix it or will need replacing?

Depends on if its one of these smart chargers ..they refuse to charge a battery that has dropped to a certain level..try an old fashioned charger on it from the 60's 70's 80's

Have you tried contacting the company that made/supplied the charger

If 'plugged-in' light shows OK might be blown 'car fuse' on charger's front or back panel. Long shot.

No i havent, will do though. Theres no power coming to it at all, its in the van so hard to see where all of the wires are going. Will check all of the fuses later.

Is there not a fuse holder on the charger front panel

?All? fuses? There's usually only one (if any) and the one most chargers use is an ordinary "car fuse".

There is a fuse board to the side of the charger, will have a look at them tomorrow
