VM is an Oz/NZ name for them,tranmx2 wrote:My 2012 XLWB RWD 2.2 E5 is a Mk7 built in Turkey.
What is VM?
Puma named motor was around in 1997. It seems there was a revamp in 2019. So it'll depend on what variant you've got and if the changes in 2011 still apply to recent vans.
So it seems the van's body stuff is Mk7 and the engine is whatever variant it is.
2012 depending when it was built and registered could be a 2.4 euro 4 or a 2.2 Euro 5nugroup wrote:Hi have Turkish built 2012 vm lwb rwd upgraded with puma motor turbo and intercooler would it be better looking in mk8 posts for info?

Was looking to fix front wishbone any one know bushes info
Had never bought a wishbone for a burst Bush lol, bush only about £10 and little bit more work rather than £40 for the wishbone but a good vice or hydraulic press makes fitting bush much easierknobby1 wrote:nugroup wrote:Thanks for that info guys

Just fit a complete lower wishbone, they're not that expensive and much easier than struggling with bushes and ball joints.

For me costing my time getting the old bush out, new bush in its not worth the hassle, and if you've not got suitable gear it's not worth the griefandz327 wrote:Had never bought a wishbone for a burst Bush lol, bush only about £10 and little bit more work rather than £40 for the wishbone but a good vice or hydraulic press makes fitting bush much easierknobby1 wrote:nugroup wrote:Thanks for that info guys
