Cill to lower arch

Postby DanMK7uk » Tue Apr 15, 2025 10:01 pm

Perhaps one for metalworker mark or anyone else in the know

Is there a repair panel primarily for the bit that the cill end meets the rear arch.

Mine will need doing at some point

Or do you make a piece up ? What thickness is this metal ?

Cheers

THIS

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/385509308788?

OR THIS

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/386230729130?

depending on wheel base

and available left or right

think original would have been thin 22 gauge 0.64mm ..very thin - why it rots - replacement panels should be thicker with any luck

use ebay search

"REAR" WING FORD TRANSIT PANEL 2000 - 2013

note - rear in inverted commas, is to stop the ebay search finding miscellaneous items

where it joins onto top panel do this to avoid blow through --- because of its thinness and to avoid distortion.

backing strip 18 gauge 1.2mm
