Remap and other quick mods

Hey all,

I have a 2005 rear wheel drive, 135 350 lwb 2.4 transit.

I replaced the turbo as it was knackered, blanked off the EGR and drilled through the cat. Apart from that I had a few other issues so cleaned out the intercooler new filter and stuff. It's driving nice.

I want to get a lift kit, some stud adaptors and off-road wheels. That's not really why I'm posting just painting a picture.

I want to give the engine a bit more of a boost through a remap. I'm going to DIY it and would like to get hold of some suitable files to flash onto the ECU.

Can anybody hear help with some remap files? I don't mind chucking a couple of quid over.

Remap "files" are not something that is readily available for the Transits...and "flashing" them into the PCM is not as simple as it sounds....The Mk6 TDCi's have a rather fragile fuel system to start with...very few "mappers" will touch them these days.

You can try some of the remap companies but I think you'll find they tend to avoid the Mk6 TDCi's.
