My van has different size injector bolts

Postby KSProperties » Sun May 04, 2025 9:08 am

Hi I need to redo copper washers again but the injector clamp down bolts that are currently in my engine are different to ford specifications.
The bolts from ford dealership for my engine/registration are m7 thread x 77mm long.
The bolts I have currently in my engine are same length at 77mm but they more like an m6 or even m5. The bolts from the dealers (m7 thread) won't screw in as too thick.
Any ideas what I can do as I need some bolts from somewhere.
Thanks

2013 transit fwd 2.2 125bhp

Unless someone has done an engine swap at some point to a different transit engine?

Yours should be a Euro 5 engine, so different to mine, but the bolts that I have here are M6, part number 1673999, which is the modified bolt to 1372386 (both are M6 and Euro 4)

The bolt number for Euro 5 is 1717583, but I don't know if they are M7, as I don't have one here to measure!
