How to reset or change the trip computer?

Postby Gehngus » Wed May 14, 2025 5:22 pm

Hi Guys.

On the dash I see how many miles to petrol station.
I can't seem to change this.

I have no little nob thingies on the dash. Just this radio stalk thing which only seems to do radio no matter how long or which button I press.

Am I missing something here?

Many thanks.

Looks like the cover is covering the two knobs.
See this youtube vid to remove screws etc.

The reset button should be on the end of the indicator stalk, there should also be a up n down thingy on the stalk to scroll through the dash menu

High spec clocks should have high spec stalk (left indicator stalk as ned mentioned).

If someone has replaced a the stalk, then it may be possible to just fit a high spec stalk unless they've swapped the high spec clocks into a poverty spec van then you may also need three wires from stalk to clocks.
Information can be found on a "factory cruise control" thread on this forum. Sorry don't have a link for that right now.

Make sure the display shows trip distance and temperature when pressing reset on the end of the stalk, it does need to be held in for a few seconds.
