Unlikely....but the Euro-4's can snap injector clamp bolts which can give similar symptoms.

+2 good advice from knobby as ever.
To add OP, always use new stretch bolts they are single use. Torque your new bolts to 6nm + 180 turn you will require 2 bolts, though you have 4 injectors
