MK7 roof antenna feet removal

G'day everyone,

my roof antenna is broken off since I have bought the van. Would like to replace the feet; the threated bolt has sheared off and there is no option of cutting a new thead in because of too less material.

Looking for a way to remove the feet - please tell me that there is some secret special tool and I don't have to remove the whole roof trim

If your very careful you can just remove the sun visor, handle and Apillar trim.

But it's 50/50 if you end up with a crease in the head cloth

Ford Germany has the perfect solution to that issue - part number 1087087 (feet for roof mounted antenna) is completely obsolete; customer has to buy the fender mounted antenna and disassemble half of the car to get that crap installed Don't know if to laugh or cry...

can i remove the rod from the foot by turning it anti-clockwise or smth?
