I reset the light

Am i right to think its just an informative/ reminder

And not detective of an issue ?

In my 85 it does a message “service now” on display

On my 115 it just has the spanner basic clocks im assuming it’s basically the same thing ? Not had this van long.. oil was done few months ago.

Yeah....just a service reminder....time or distance, whichever comes first. It doesn't know or care when the oil/filter was last changed.

Throttle down, brake down, ignition on, wait ~20 seconds for a "beep", cycle the ignition...job done.

Yes my mk 6&8 comes on randomly as knobby says if you had a Ford service they can’t reset it at the time you just have to wait till it comes on then reset it

I’ve never had the service spanner come up on my 2013 EU5. Serviced it myself for the past 5 years too. Maybe it has some fandango sensor on it for oil quality

Maybe mate. Oil is very fresh however

Been driving about today and not come back so id be hopeful it was just a reminder
