early/late Mk7 Dash Harness Compatibility

I'm doing a dashboard swap.

The donor is a mk7 GLX, the recipient is a 2009 Limited.

Both seem to have the same equipment actually fitted - except the limited has aux in and GLX doesn't - but the GLX has more empty sockets.

I can see no obvious reason not to fit the 2006 loom in to the 2009 - but am I barking up the wrong tree? My only real concern is that one has a 6C1T part number, the other an 8C1T.

Am I barking up the wrong tree? I know there are mid mk5 changes to dash loom and early and late are not compatible, but don't know about mk7. Does anyone know? Thanks
