Last go on the transhit...
So far ive done:
●injector seals (heads brand new dont need to recut i dont think)
●scv
●fpv
●fuel filter
●lift pump 7-10psi
●3 new crank sensors
●cam and crank in sync
●new head and head gasket
●all new timing chain and guides sprockets etc
(In time)
●leak off test seems fine although cant run it for long enough had to keep starting it over and over again.
●2 new battery's
●new key barrel
●engine rebuilt at 30k wasn't me
●new injectors at 30k continental
●reset every adaptions possible with pcm and tried disconnecting battery's.
●today just tried swapping injectors around and recoding obviously new washers and bolts genuine ones.
●battery low in the video but still started and is the same with a fully charged battery just crankshaft quicker.
● compression test come back at 20 bar
So the van has been running absolutely fine! But i had started the van without the maf plugged in i didn't remeber to plug it in... since then it will not idle nor will it rev. Ive done all fuel related things to it once it started acting like this. It's chucks out a lot of black smoke and f**king stinks. It once had a code when this started about the low pressure side but cleared and has never come back.
Only thing left to do which is compression test it but it was running absolutely fine no hard starts nothing. Or replace injectors but theyre £800 quid and also leak off test said they was fine. Or the hpfp but how would I test it with it being such high pressure and these dont normally go do they? It was all torqued and drop of locktite when doing timing chain.
There's no codes or faults coming up on forscan only thing I can see that I dont like is the frp is low. Ive even tried it disconnecting the frps and it said 28-30k psi but still the same story. I dont think it actually started thinking about it.
Does anyone have anymore advice at all as the van is virtually rust free (rare) and I just dont have the money to m57 swap it yet. Nor would i ever put another 2.2 in it. Euro4 are way better then this euro5 shite my old mk7 has no engine issues at all at 170k.
Cheers guys hope i can get this sorted so I can stop driving a vivaro.
