High spec clocks. ??

Postby mjsroofing » Thu May 28, 2026 12:32 pm

2009 transit, lwb, medium roof, 115 ps.

So ive bought a set of high spec clocks, and ive got the bcm to go with it.

Question is, without changing the bcm, will anything work on the new clocks.
I was thinking of fitting the clocks for now and sort bcm out later on. I can also see what the mileage is too then.

Also, has anyone got an instruction manual to program the bcm lol

Everything that worked on the old clocks will work on the new clocks, they're plug-n-play.

The mileage will be whatever is on the new clocks, it won't correct to whatever is stored in the BCM. I kept a note of my old mileage and asked Vantuner to correct it.

I can't remember what didn't work on the new clocks, on mine, apart from o/s temp which needed the o/s temp sensor, but, nothing that mattered initially, but you'll need the small left hand stalk to zero the (now electronic) tripmeter.
Loot can probably help with BCM programming, as Vantuner did mine 8)

Thanks.
Im hoping the mileage is less than mine, but the clocks was out of a scrap van so I doubt it.
I have the stalk ready fitted. (Only for the last 10 years lol )
Ill clocks over on weekend and see how it goes.

Well I fitted the clocks and the extra wires so the stalk works, mileage was 197k , disappointed but was expected.

Just got to get the temp sensor now.
