mk7 jumbo motorhome brake pad warning light?

Postby glenandemm » Sun Jul 26, 2026 2:19 pm

hi guys my motorhome had a brake pad warning light on under heavy braking so I read you can delete it totally as it was annoying, I bridged the two wires at the back of cluster and all seemed ok until this weekend I had it come back on again!
im going to double check my bridging wire but am I right bridging the wires at pins 15 and 18?

You can also bridge the wires on the harness to each wheel which has a sensor...does the same thing.

Cheers bud I’ve ended up cutting the green blue wire completely and leaving just the piece coming out the binnacle bridged to the black earth, before I had it bridged but still going out around the van.
see if that fixes it!
