Mk6-> TDi engines

Just out of interest are the new generation tdi MK6-> engines basically what they put in the mondeos etc? are they using a MT 75 box or another option?

what are the power ratings on the various engine sizes

The Mk6 and 7 Transits use the MT75 and MT82 (think it's 82, the 6 speed one anyway) gearboxes but these boxes and bellhousings are different to the earlier MT75s. If that's what you were asking anyway, maybe I miss understand your question!

The duratorq 2.0 engine was fitted in Transit before Mondeo got it the 2.4 is a transit only engine. Transmission options are as MrMPuk said a modified MT75 and the MT82 in rear wheel drive config and the VXT75 (similar to the carline MTX75)

since the current transit launched we've had

75PS
90PS
115PS
120PS
125PS
137PS

as 2.4 options, although 75 and 120 have since been removed from service. And in 2.0 form we've had

75PS
85PS
100PS
125PS

and from that the 75PS is no longer with us. 2.0 125PS and 2.4 137PS are both TDCi , all the others are electronic controlled pumps.

Would this combination fit in the MK5?

2.4 137PS TDCi , electronic controlled pumps MT82 R/w Drive in fact would any of the engine/g.box fit the MK5?

they would fit but it wouldnt be strait forward! Transitgeoff has a mk6 engine in his mk1!!
