well everyone what are the 2001 swb rwd transits with the 90ps 2.4 tdi engine like?i didnt even know you could get a new shape swb in proper wheel drive,because i asked in my local ford garage and they told ford never made one!untill i seen one in the auto trader for sale above in donegal,probably came from england

mate rac have got em they look proper as you say they sit higher and gennerally look right with the bigger wheels they are hard to get hold of tho i know what you mean about fords saying you cant get em my dad enquired about a 350 drw jumbo and they told him they stopped making em i think if it aint easy to get hold of they dont want to know

yeh i get that a lot with dealers and motor factors im always looking for something quare!ye really cant beat these forums for info,im on a few others for cars and there a very reliable source of information

ye thats the problem with me i always want something rare hence my van its great till you need that special svo part that only applies to your vehicle good luck finding something down south here there are a few new shapes ex rac being sold off as they have been going over to vito's now there rwd

but there fetching a fair bit at the mo

yeh but i bet there still cheaper than hiaces!in ireland we have a love affair with jap motors so they are seriously over priced

dont know mate i havent seen any they use the s******s a lot but saying that there latest cctv vans are trannys but there still buying the s******s for the riot busses maybe because ford dont do a mwb drw van ????

shoreham is ok but there a lot of dodgy motors there there was a longcube at the stealers before christmas it was basically a write off but because it was so rare it was repaired i think the company has sold it now but there is one up the road from me and another is used as a "ace" hire van newey and eyre used to have a few in the south dont know if they have still got them???

ah hiaces are a good van like,at least there still proper wheel drive and have a stick coming outta the floor!the vans that dont make sense to me are the vws with huge hp and fwd,friend of mine has one got it chipped reckons its puttin out nearly 200 brake and spins the wheels in third gear!like why??and as for those massive renault masters and peougot boxers!
