Need 'em big, fatter the better..

Postby chrisuk » Tue Mar 28, 2006 10:48 pm

Not what you think it is, this is about wheels and I need them as wide as I can possibly go (forget UK law), anyone have clues/ideas what other vehicle rims would fit ie: Landrover etc, The reason Im asking is because I need them for a demanding roll where the terrain is sandy and muddy, I knw its not a 4x4x far but thats not the issue right now, any ideas or comments greatly appreciated.

Steel rims preffered, alloys wont take the punishment

Cheers

Landrover wheels wont fit Chris, the Transit PCD is 160mm the Landrover is 165mm, although you may be able to get a set re-drilled to fit.

Im sure they can be but clearance on the rear inside wheel arch is not much but yes Im sure they will fit, I suppose I could always fit spacers on the studs to bring te rim out a tad bit as clearance is not much and at a guess around 2 1/2" max, going out is not a problem
