Transit info

Postby Two Transit Dave » Mon May 29, 2006 9:26 pm

I have had to login with my daughters username as for some reason my old username and password stopped me logging in. I couldnot log in to get the problem resolved a real catch 22 !

Anyway I have purchased a second secondhand Transit to go with my LPG smiley face model it is a 2001 90 350 MWB MR model with 71,000 on the clock. My question is has anyone fitted the DTUK module I have read about the Bluefin but find the cost a bit high and have spoken on the phone to the guy at DTUK and he was very very helpfull I am looking for better economy and an overall improvement plus a smoother engine. I have filled it up with BP Ultimate diesel after reading details on the web site has anyone used this fuel long term? I have used the Shell Optimax petrol in my Pajero Evolution with very noticable improvements I was just wondering if the diesel equivelent has benefits. Although the dealer changed the oil I am going to replace it with Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel anyone have any comments about this oil?
By the way this like so many owner groups on the net is a mine of information
